Belonging, Being, Becoming: The Early Years Framework

Play is one of the key foundations of the Early Years Learning Framework. At Wee Wonders we use the Framework’s vision of Belonging, Being and Becoming to create play-based learning experiences that build on your individual child’s interests and abilities.

Belonging is the cornerstone for living a fulfilling life. Children feel they belong because of the relationships they develop with their family, community, culture and place.

Being is about living in the here and now. Childhood is a special time and children need time to just ‘be’ – time to play, try new things and have fun.

Becoming is about learning and development. Children form their sense of identity from an early age, which shapes the type of adult they will become.
